Item 132.  Sterling Georg Jensen brooch.

This Brooch is circa 1970ss and designed by one of Georg Jensen’s best and most versatile designer, Arno Malinovski.  It features two dolphins swimming together and seaweed in foreground.  A rectangular frame adds perspective to the scene.  The back is marked with the oval dotted Georg Jensen logo used circa 1970 and “925 S Denmark”.  It is also numbered “251”.  The pin assembly opens and closes smoothly and the catch locks in securely.  It has well defined burnishing.  In good condition, no repairs.  This piece is shown in Janet Drucker’s book “Georg Jensen A Tradition Of Splendid Silver” on p. 101 in the section headed “a" collection of Arno Malinovski Designs.  The pin measures one and one-half inches (1-1/2”) by one and one-quarter inches (1-1/4”).  The weight is ll.3 grams (7.2 dwt)
